Update From the President

We are only 2 weeks away from the first patrol being on the beach, the patrol tower has had its maintenance completed, the clubhouse has had quite a bit of work done throughout the off season, vehicles have had services and we are ready to go. Are you? Have you replied to LSV's vaccination status form? No vaxx, no requal, no patrolling, no participating in club activities or club functions. The link is; https://vacstatus.lsv.com.au/ It takes a couple of minutes to do and then you're all set for the season.

Keep an eye out for the Rally Around the Dunes notification. Bringing focus on the plight of the Inverloch beach erosion and the need for action to the media is paramount. It is being held on the morning of the 12th of January and will be supported by the community, local groups and local government. It will be covered by local TV and papers. I would like to see as many members there (in uniform if possible) - especially Nippers. We will be creating a line of people where the dunes were.

A special thanks to all that have worked so hard through the off season to get the club ready. Nippers enrolments will open shortly, see information below, and we are back to pre-covid numbers. We are waiting for LSV to give final numbers for training - so we are holding back on Bronze and SRC enrolments until this is done. If you are like me you are well over Covid but we got there! I'm looking forward to a Covid -normal season - just remember to use the QR code when entering the club house, follow government guide lines and we will all have a great summer and keep each other safe.

Keep sand between you toes - without a mask on!
