SRC Enrolment Instructions

Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) applications for existing members will open @ 5pm on Tuesday the 23rd of November (TODAY). All 13 year old's that are currently members or have been members in the previous two seasons are eligible to enrol. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Cost of the SRC Program is $115 which includes the cost or patrol uniform (Shirt/Shorts & Quartered Patrol Cap)
Enrolment for those who are not or have not been members will open on Thursday the 25th of November subject to availability of places.

NOTE: Participants must be fully vaccinated and registered via the button below.
To enrol you will need to sign in to your Member Account in the Inverloch Hello Club application. If you have been a member in the past 2 seasons we have created an account for you and your family members. If you have never signed into your account, follow the instructions in Step 1 below to access your account.

If you have a family member who is not currently in the system and you wish to add them to your family membership, please email [email protected] with your name, the new family member's name and DOB.

Step 1) Accessing your Hello Club Account
  • Launch the application.
  • If you know your details, sign in and go to step 2.
  • If you are unsure of your username or password, click in the SIGN IN WITH USERNAME button.

This will take you to a screen where you can recover your username & password. If you are still having trouble, follow the instructions here
Step 2) Renewing your Membership (if required)

In order to enrol in SRC you must have a current Membership. If you have not renewed your membership yet, follow these steps.
The following Membership Types are eligible to enroll in SRC:
  • Family (Under 18)
  • Individual Under 18 - Patrolling or Non-Patrolling Member
Select Memberships from the home screen.

  • Select RENEW and follow the instructions. Do not PURCHASE a new Membership

Step 3) Selecting SRC from the Calendar

Once you have signed in and renewed your membership, return to the home screen. Click on the Calendar Button.

Scroll forward on the Calendar to the 2nd of January 2021. Locate the "Surf Rescue Certificate" Event and select it. (you may need to change the calendar view).

Step 4) Completing Enrolment

After selecting Selecting Surf Rescue Certificate, the detail event screen will be shown. If you have a Family Membership, select the member you wish to enrol from the dropdown list.
If you are signed in as an individual member, proceed straight to Sign Up.
If the child you have chosen is eligible, the SIGN UP button will appear.

Click the SIGN UP button to complete the enrolment and pay fees. If you wish to enrol another participant, you will need to repeat Step 3 & 4.

Other Important Information:

COVID 19 & Vaccination Requirements

As an affiliate of Life Saving Victoria (LSV) and an Emergency Service, Inverloch SLSC has been directed to comply with the latest Victorian Government COVID 19 roadmap. For Nippers season 2021/22 this means:
  • Children DO NOT need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in Nippers.
  • ALL people 16 years and older involved in Nippers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • ALL SRC candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • ALL Water Safety helpers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • ALL Parent Helpers involved in Nippers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • ALL Parents / Guardians entering the Nippers beach area must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
People who have a valid exemption as per the CHO directions preventing them from being vaccinated against COVID-19 are exempt from the above requirements.
More information on management of these requirements will be communicated prior to the program commencement.
Preliminary Swim Requirements:

There are Preliminary Swim requirements which must be satisfied by participants prior to the start of the program. We will be running assessments on the 27th of December at the Surf Beach for all participants. Pink Vests & Club Caps

All participants must wear pink vests and club caps at all times during the program. These will be available for purchase at the uniform shop at advertised times.
